Datification Workshop
A day on which drafts for digital services emerge from your data. Using design thinking methods, existing data holdings are examined, made tangible, recombined and cast into prototypical applications.

- Designing services from your data
How the day unfolds
First comes the data space: which data accumulates in your organisation and which of it carries weight. Then follow practices for rethinking and reconnecting data and data flows. Out of this come ideas that turn into prototypical drafts on the same day. The day is shaped together with you in advance.
What you take away
Prototypical drafts for services built from your own data, along with strategies for opening up these data spaces for your field of work. Materials, instructions and documentation of the workshop are included.
What you need to bring
A team with mixed professional backgrounds. Curiosity and a keen eye count for more here than training and experience. And openness about the outcome: you deliberately do not know in advance what will come out. The focus is on people, not on their role as user or customer.
Who the workshop is not for
If the result is already settled and only needs building, this day is the wrong one: it is designed for open exploration, not for confirmation. Nor is it training in data analysis; analysis here serves the design.
